2009-2010 Board of Directors & Officers

On November 30th 2009, the Bainbridge Estates Property Owners Association elected its 10th Board of Directors. Two members of this board are incumbents: Brad Serres (term expires 8/2010) and Luann Serres (term expires 8/2011). Ron Payne was elected as the other board member (term expires 8/2012).

All three Board members will act in 2010 with these duties:

  •  Brad Serres holds the position of President
  •  Luann Serres will remain as Vice President
  •  and Ron Payne will be the new Secretary/Treasurer.

The next time you see one of these Board members, please tell them "Thank You! " for all of the voluntary effort they have put into Bainbridge Estates to make it a better neighborhood for you and your family. Top of page


History of the Board Membership

The formation and duties of the Board of Directors is explained in the by-laws of the Property Owners Association. Hereinafter, at the Annual Meetings, the POA will elect one Director for a 3-year term.

2008-2009 Board of Directors & Officers

On November 10th 2008, the Bainbridge Estates Property Owners Association elected its 9th Board of Directors. Two members of this board are incumbents: Brad Serres (term expires 8/2010) and Carl Chase (term expires 8/2009). Luann Serres was re-elected as the other board member (term expires 8/2011).

On October 3rd, 2007, the Bainbridge Estates Property Owners Association elected its 8th Board of Directors. Two members of this board are incumbents: Luann Serres (term expires 8/2008) and Carl Chase (term expires 8/2009). Brad Serres was re-elected as the other board member (term expires 8/2010).

All three Board members will continue in 2008 with their present duties:

2006-2007 Board of Directors & Officers

On October 17th, 2006, the Bainbridge Estates Property Owners Association elected its 7th Board of Directors. Two members of this board are incumbents: Brad Serres (term expires 8/2007) and Luann Serres (term expires 8/2008). Carl Chase was re-elected as the other board member (term expires 8/2009).

All three Board members will continue in 2007 with their present duties:

  •  Brad Serres holds the position of President
  •  Luann Serres will remain as Vice President
  •  and Carl Chase will remain as the Secretary/Treasurer.

2005-2006 Board of Directors & Officers

On October 3rd, 2005, the Bainbridge Estates Property Owners Association elected its 6th Board of Directors. Two members of this board are incumbents: Carl Chase (term expires 8/2006) and Brad Serres (term expires 8/2007). Luann Serres was re-elected as the other board member (term expires 8/2008).

All three Board members will continue in 2006 with their present duties:

  •  Brad Serres holds the position of President
  •  Luann Serres will remain as Vice President
  •  and Carl Chase will remain as the Secretary/Treasurer.

The Bainbridge POA certainly owes a great deal of thanks to these individuals for the job they did serving on the previous 2004-2005 Board of Directors. Just some of their more notable accomplishments were:

  •  Repaired the detention pond at a considerable savings and brought it back to original specifications. Doesn't it look great now!
  •  Beautifying the front entrance and all of the cul-de-sac islands.
  •  Repair of the entrance monument light.
  •  Posting of new speed limit and "no trespassing" signs
  •  Establishing a strong ACC and enforcing our Deed Restrictions
  •  Saving the POA thousands of dollars by assuming the roles (at no cost) that a management company and entrance gate service company had previously provided for healthy fees.

2004-2005 Board of Directors & Officers

On September 20th, 2004, the Bainbridge Estates Property Owners Association elected its 5th Board of Directors. Two members of this board are incumbents: Carl Chase (term expires 8/2006) and Luann Serres (term expires 8/2005). Brad Serres was elected as the other board member (term expires 8/2007).

Brad Serres accepted the position of President, Luan Serres will remain as Vice President and Carl Chase will be the new Secretary/Treasurer.

Robert Talk leaves after fulfilling his three-year term on the Board of Directors. Robert has volunteered to continue to assist the POA by remaining as the webmaster.

"I thoroughly enjoyed being a member of the three boards I served. Together we accomplished several things during the fledgling years of our POA:

  •  We overcame the financial adversity that was dealt to us when the developers relinquished control of the Board.
  •  We established this web site so that all POA members can be aware of the POA activities.
  •  We began the practice of holding regular monthly board meetings.
  •  We began the process of deed restriction enforcement to help retain our property values.
  •  We helped to improve and beautify the common areas of our neighborhood.
  •  We established communication with our Water District.

Mostly I enjoyed the friendship and fellowship of my fellow board members during our meetings. I must say that our meetings have been fun! Congratulations to the new 2004-2005 Board and I look forward to continue serving the Bainbridge Estates POA in every way that I can." - Robert Talk, Secretary (2003-2004) 


2003-2004 Board of Directors & Officers

On September 30th, 2003, the Bainbridge Estates Property Owners Association elected its 4th Board of Directors. One member of this board was an incumbent member: Robert Talk. He is serving the third and final year of his term. The other two board members elected were Carl Chase (3-year term) and Luann Serres (filling the remaining two years of resigning board member John Bullard). Carl accepted the positions of President/Treasurer and Luann will serve as Vice President. Robert Talk will remain as Secretary/Webmaster.

Ian Russell leaves his position as President after fulfilling his two-year term. John Bullard and the dual team of Ian and Loretta Russell served the POA magnificently and were instrumental in;

  •  making numerous repairs and improvements to our gate, irrigation and landscaping,
  •  negotiating money-saving contracts with our service providers and
  •  getting our deed restriction enforcement initiated.

2002-2003 Board of Directors & Officers

On September 9th, 2002, the Bainbridge Estates Property Owners Association elected its 3rd Board of Directors. Two members of this board were incumbent members; Ian Russell and Robert Talk. They are serving the second year of their terms. The third board member elected was John Bullard. He fills the position vacated  by Judy Wilson-Wise. Judy served her term on the board as Secretary/Treasurer and was helpful in the actions required to make our POA financially solvent in 2001 and 2002. From all of us in the Bainbridge Estates Property Owners Association and your fellow board members, "Thank you Judy!".

Ian Russell accepted the position of President with John Bullard stepping in as Vice President. Out-going President, Robert Talk, will now serve as Secretary and continue his duties as webmaster.

"I want to thank my fellow 2001-2002 board members, Loretta Russell (Maintenance Committee Chairperson), Jon Harper, the builders, and the members of the POA to allow me to serve you as President during the past year. We inherited quite a financial mess from the 1999-2001 administration. However, the POA rose to meet the challenge presented in our November 20, 2001 emergency meeting. Today, we have projected that, at the end of fiscal 2002, we will have accomplished the following:

  •  Completely replenished the one-time Capital Improvement Fee (CIF) fund.
  •  Have a two-month cash reserve in our operating fund and
  •  Be able to add about $9,000 to our Capital Reserve Fund.

Thank you for your support and I look forward to continuing to serve you as a member of the 2002-2003 board." - Robert Talk, Secretary (2002-2003)

The Board also accepted Allyn Skelton as Treasurer.


2001-2002 Board of Directors

On August 23rd, 2001, the Bainbridge Estates Property Owners Association elected its 2nd Board of Directors. This was the first time that the members owned enough property to assume control of the Board from the original developers. The first member-comprised board members were: Ian Russell (Vice President), Judy Wilson-Wise (Secretary/Treasurer) and Robert Talk (President).

"This board is made up of a group of three like-minded volunteers. They are like-minded in that they believe in fiscal responsibility and hope to help make Bainbridge Estates a nice place to live where neighbors are friendly and tolerant.

The board believes in open communication and you can find out about all of their activities by reading:

  •  the Board of Directors Correspondence and
  •  the Minutes of meetings.

The POA's web site is one example of the board's fiscal responsibility. It is run entirely free-of-charge to the POA. We always look for ways to save the POA money. If you have any ideas, please share them with a board member. You'll find them to be receptive and open-minded." - Robert Talk, President (2001-2002)
