Committees

We have several committees operating in our neighborhood.

The By-Laws of our POA require that the following two committees are established:
  1. Nominating Committee
  2. Architectural Review Committee

In addition, the Board has approved:

The Committees are always looking for assistance. If you would like to volunteer to help the Committee Chairpersons, please contact one of them, a Board member or email the webmaster.

Nominating Committee

The Nominating Committee is responsible for making nominations for candidates to run for the Board of Directors.

The current Nominating Committee consists of:

They will serve from 11/30/2009 until ?. The nominating committee seeks anyone who wishes to be nominated for a Board of Directors position.

Architectural Review Committee

The current Architectural Control Committee members are:

Security Committee

The current Security (Gate) Committee was adopted by the Board on 09/30/03.

The Committee Chairperson is Brad Serres.

This committee:

  •  arranges for entrance gate maintenance repairs and interfaces with those vendors
  •  arranges for repairs to our entrance gate phone system
  •  provides gate access devices/codes
  •  solicits security service contracts and interfaces with those vendors

Note: If you have a problem with the gate contractor, please contact the Security Committee Chairperson (Brad Serres). It's best for our POA to have only one person dealing with this contractor.

Our gate provides five convenient means of gaining access to the gate:

  1. Your family's personal access code (assigned by Brad Serres) to use on the numeric entry keypad.
  2. A radio frequency "clicker",
  3. A dialer that calls your home (the person answering dials "9" to admit entry).
  4. A Knox box that provides standard a standard access means for emergency services personnel and equipment.

Please do not give out an access code to anyone other than your immediate family members. Doing so compromises the security for all of the rest of the  neighborhood!

Maintenance Committee

The current Maintenance Committee was adopted by the Board on 09/30/03.

The Committee Chairperson is Brad Serres.

This committee:

  •  solicits landscaping contracts and interfaces with those vendors
  •  solicits garbage removal contracts and interfaces with those vendors
  •  arranges for repairs to our irrigation system
  •  arranges for repairs to our entrance gate lights and street lights
  •  arranges for maintenance on the detention pond

Note: If you have a problem with these contractors, please contact the a Board member instead of the contractor. It's best for our POA to have only one person dealing with these contractors.

We pay NW Harris County M.U.D. #36 for the water used to irrigate our common areas. The seven water sprinkler meters (5 islands & 2 entrance) are numbers:

  • 36 039000 (Entrance - pump station side)
